Khem began her yoga journey as a teenager. She discovered that having a regular yoga practice brought grounding, awareness and joy to her life. Over the next 20 years, and through many different phases of her life, Khem found Yoga to be essential for nurturing body, mind and soul.
Having previously worked in education, Khem decided she wanted to combine her teaching skills with her love of yoga by undertaking a 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training course.
Khem loves introducing others to the benefits of Hatha Yoga as it is very gentle and accessible for beginners. In her classes, Khem aims to provide a sanctuary away from the stresses and strains of daily life, where students are encouraged to become present in the moment and nurture themselves.
