Liza has worked in health care for many years and practises yoga to bring balance to her life. Having practised mindfulness and meditation for over 20yrs Liza finds strength through stillness and has found a greater appreciation of nature and nurture through these practices.
Liza became a yoga teacher to share her knowledge and passion with others. Liza completed her Yoga Teacher Training and since qualified to teach yoga to independent older adults along with Yin, Kids, Teens and pre and postnatal yoga. Liza is an Ayurvedic yoga instructor and a qualified advanced yoga teacher and is currently studying yoga and mental health.
Liza will generally teach a slow flow yoga so that students have time to tune into their body and their inner voice, so that they may move mindfully into and out of asanas and that day’s practice. This is the perfect class for complete beginners or those who may not have practised for a while or prefer a slower flow Vinyasa practise. Each class finishes with pranayama to compliment the practice and a beautiful relaxation Savasana.
Liza also specialises in pre and postnatal yoga, helping women to tune into their amazing changing bodies. Liza also teaches a chair based yoga practise to help those who require a more gentle mobility class; this is a 6 week course and aims to increase strength, flexibility and relaxation.
Liza loves a mandala practise and recently taught a moon mandala class at a Yoga festival (Nov ’21).
