ONLINE - Vinyasa & Restore Yoga Workshop with Holly

Begin your weekend with a warming Vinyasa (yang) practice allowing prana and energy to flow through the body. Expect to create heat and focus of the mind during the first part of the class as we move meditatively and dynamically. Transitioning into a cooling and calmer practice, the second half of the class will give you time to reflect and recharge, with the added bonus of building flexibility through yin and restorative poses. This class is topped and tailed with breathing techniques, meditation and deep relaxation, giving you a yummy balance of everything!

ONLINE - Sports yoga: yoga for runners with Esther

A session targeted at the muscles and movements used when running. Esther will run through the patterning we use when on the trails and tarmac, common complaints and injuries, before leading you through a sequence specifically designed to target key areas. You'll leave with a renewed awareness of what we do to our bodies when running, and some handy takeaways to apply outside of the session. Esther specialises in Yoga for Athletes and Sport taught by Sarah Ramsden (yoga coach for Manchester United Football Club).

Give yourself permission to slow down and bring balance to this fast-paced world of ours with this beautifully peaceful sequence. You will be guided through a slow flow of long-held passive floor postures accessing the deeper layers of fascia. Allow yourself the time and space to bring awareness to the breath, feelings and sensations that arise whilst increasing flexibility & energetic flow of the subtle body. We’ll close with a tranquil yoga nidra (a deep rest meditation technique). The whole experience works to cultivate a sense of release in both mind and body

Supporting your Yoga practice with Holly

How to use props including blocks, belts, and bolsters to deepen our practice. Yoga props help our rigid western bodies find more ease and stillness in a new pose! As adults with injuries, or who likely sit in a chair all day, it is possible that you will find certain poses more accessible to you when you have props. When used correctly, yoga props can also help you to avoid injury, improve alignment and bring greater benefits to your mind and body.

An introduction to breathing well with Will van Zyl

Will has dedicated a large part of his life to learning and discovering how we can achieve ultimate wellbeing; living life well, at ease and confident. He has studied and taught martial arts and yoga and learned shiatsu, massage and various behavioral change modalities. Will teaches breath work, yoga, the Wim Hof Method and he coaches self mastery and wellbeing.

Mindful Henna with The Henna Boutique

This session combining mindfulness with henna so you can fully indulge in the art. We'll explore mlindfulness first to setting the tone for our tranquil afternoon together. Next we'll take you through the fun bit... Creating beautiful designs, you'll be learning how to hold a cone, how to put together a design and will leave with a practice kit too! Before you leave you’ll also receive some henna done by Tanya, the lead artist.
