Esther loves helping others find a love for yoga. She has been practicing for over 15 years, originally Ashtanga, then vinyasa and gradually found a more somatic informed movement.
She’s passionate about making yoga accessible, fun and something that can be applied off the mat as well as on. The word ‘yoga’ in Sanskrit means ‘union’ and there is nothing better than helping someone to find out what that means for them; whether finding the union of the body and the mind or the breath and the movement.
She maintained a yoga practice through two pregnancies and found a huge sense of gratitude for how it helped throughout that process.
She is currently working on her advanced 500 hour yoga teacher training and has studied yoga philosophy, yoga and depression, yoga and anxiety, as well as inclusive yoga modules as part of this.
She also completed a specialist 7 month training in Yoga for Sports and Athletes in September 2019 with Triyoga, under the teacher Sarah Ramsden (famous for being Ryan Giggs’s and MUFC yoga teacher).
At Grace & Gravity Esther teaches Slow Flow Yoga, as well as offering Family Yoga in school holidays. Slow Flow Yoga is a variation of Vinyasa Yoga. It’s perfect for students who want to take it a little slower, but enjoy the fluidity of Vinyasa.
