This February we want to spread the local love by sharing some of the local businesses in our community.

We are so lucky that our following is full of creative, passionate and dedicated people, each fighting the good fight as a small, local business like ourselves. We know how hard it can be be to hold on to that motivation on the harder days so let's celebrate you all this month with a page dedicated to you and your businesses. 

Throughout the month we will be spreading the love across our socials and sharing stories about local business in our community. If you are a small business owner yourself based in the Berkshire/Oxfordshire/Bucks area, let us know by filling out your details here and we will make sure you are included. 

Meet our local business heros 

To start us off in our month of loving local, meet some of the local business heros that have shared their stories with us: 

  • Nicola Bannister Jewellery - Nicola is a fine jeweller who makes and sells her own jewellery collection online, but also specialises in remodelling people's sentimental jewellery. This includes giving precious and semi-precious a new lease of life. She takes on all types of repairs and all types of bespoke projects... anything is possible! Nicola also runs wedding ring making workshops for soon-to-be married couples!   • Nourishingly Noshed - Alice is a no-bake treat maker! Nourishingly Noshed was born out of her love of healthier foods, wellbeing and her own sweet tooth! Her treats are indulgent, plant-based and made with healthy, delicious ingredients which are free from health sensitive ingredients such as gluten, dairy, eggs and refined sugar. Customers enjoy these treats for many reason from dietary requirements to beautiful retreat snacks.   • Indigo Warrior Yoga - Meg from Indigo Warrior Yoga teaches mum and baby yoga at the Soul Barns in Mortimer. Her classes include a new theme each week, like Little Flowers! Find out more about her services and how to get involved here Meg Burgess (@indigowarrioryoga)

  • Nourish by V - V from Nourish by V is a yoga teacher and a crystal bowl sound healer, who offers a variation of classes, cacao ceremonies, and sound healing evenings. We are lucky enough to have V holding a very special workshops for us at Grace & Gravity on 1st March, check it out.   • Pawfect Pups Boutique - Pawfect Pups Boutique are a small business that specialises in unique designed dog accessories, all made inhouse, such as harnesses, collars, leads, bows, bandanas and poo bag holders!   • Debi Illustrates - Debi is an illustrator based in Streatley who sells eco-friendly note cards, as well as writing paper and greeting cards.   • Poise Therapies - Felicity is a practitioner and owner of a small business Poise Therapies. Through the holistic therapies of natural facial massage and foot reflexology, she feels a calling to support the everyday modern women who seeks to find a sense if rebalance in their lives. We all wear different hats, we all plate spin! Soothing the nervous system and finding the pause button works wonders in reclaiming equilibrium - helping your inner glow to radiate outwards.   • Lords Fragrance House - Eco brands don't have to be brown! Lords are a local business who blend their own oils to make unique scent experiences that take people away from the stresses of everyday life and offer a little escapism at home.   • Louise Claire Millinery - This is an independent milliners who have been at 36 St Mary's Street, Wallingford for over 20 years! They specialise is hats, hates and more hats! With over 1000 to either hire or purchase. They also offer a bespoke service if you want something a little more unique. So whether you are going to a wedding, Royal Ascot, Henley Royal Regatta, The Royal Garden Parties, Investitures or just for fun, we have the perfect headpiece for you.   • Blcksalt Studio - Sapna Odline owns Blcksalt Studio, a website development business. She can also help you with your brand photography and family photography.   • Tracy Hammond PA - Tracy and her daughter Chloe work to provide PA support for both private clients and businesses.   • The Pine in the Valley - This is a local jewellery designer and maker working with recycled metals and repurposed materials such as seaglass, scrap pottery and repurposed plastics. Have a look at their work Tracy Hammond (@tracyhammondpa)

  • The Coffee Shop - Pamela runs The Coffee Stop at The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway in Wallingford. She sells Coffee, Tea, Hot Choc, cakes and savoury bites.   • The SUP Life - A paddleboarding company made up of a small team of enthusiastic instructors from all different backgrounds who just love being on the river. They are lucky to have two gorgeous riverside bases at The Swan at Streatley and The Great House where they teach everyone from complete beginners to those wanting to perfect their technique.
